Idener is an Spanish SME spin-off rooted in a research group at the Seville's School of Engineering Department of Systems and Automation, which constitutes an integral part of the company and is indeed the scientific base on which the spin-off is founded. Consisting of a multidisciplinary team of 14 PhD-holding engineers, it is dedicated to research in the area of new control methodologies and design in a broad range of fields:

Predictive control and other formulations: neural networks, learning and adaptive control
Network and distributed control.
Stability, robustness and optimization properties.
Non-linear systems, hybrid systems, stochastic processes.
Fault detection and risk management.
System identification and modelling.
