Lorgen is the first biotechnology company that has started its activity in the Technological Park of Health Sciences (PTS) from Granada, which is the most modern and largest concentration of companies, researchers and professionals in the areas of the sciences of health, which are closely related to public interest in these subjects (CSIC, Universidad de Granada and SAS).
The main activity of Lorgen is conducting genetic analysis in the clinical setting (Genomic Medicine) and in the forensic genetics (study of human identification, paternity testing, resolution of criminal cases) to be our highest priority quality and confidentiality of the results.
Our professionals are the most prestigious international companies within the Forensic Genetics (ISFG, International Society for Forensic Genetics) and genetic diagnosis (EMQN, European Molecular Quality Network and AEGH, Spanish Association of Human Genetics), participating annually in the controls Quality organized by those companies.
Our extensive experience in DNA analysis techniques and the scientific training of our team also allow us to offer an advisory service and technical support and scientific research groups from the University or other entities who have no means to carry out certain research projects.
