Formulation services based on microencapsulation
Ingeniatrics’ main business focused on micro and nanoencapsulation for drug delivery applications. Although we could be defined as a CRO for the pharmaceutical industry, it is worthy to note that all of our developments are based on proprietary technology compatible with many different processes.
Nowadays, microspheres are being used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, textile and cosmetics for high value applications: Protection, Dose Control, Design of Delivery Profiles, Stabilization, New Properties, Combination of Incompatibles, New Administration Routes, etc
Our proprietary technology (Flow Focusing®) is a very versatile microfluidic system that will give you many advantages to design particles with specific characteristics:
- Tuneable identical size: 700 nm – 600 um
- Eligible formulation: polymers, pre-emulsions, drugs of different nature and complexity
- Combination with different solidification procedures.
- Very soft mechanical process: indicated for cells, microorganisms and labile molecules.
- Particles with different architectures: homogeneous matrix, capsules or multivesicles.
Based on a CRO Business model, our technological service offer as main services:
- Study and evaluation of starting material.
- Design of innovative solutions for the required application based on our technology
- Pre-formulation studies and technology fitting
- Microparticle characterization including morphology, composition, etc
- Study of drug delivery profiles.
- Microparticle production for custom in-house studies.
